IEM-SAFE UNIMAS Student Section 2018/2019 has conducted a week filled with humanity and community related events, wrapped up under one event called Inspiring Youth.
A few activities were carried out during the week such as Neon Run 2019, Career Talk, Humanity & Bonding and IEM Food Fest.
Career Talk 2019
An impactful talk given by an expert engineer from IEM Sarawak Branch, Ir Edna Matthew came and supported IEM-SAFE UNIMAS Student Section's Career Talk with her passionate and motivational talk.

Neon Run 2019
Neon Run was the second run held by IEM-SAFE UNIMAS Student Section in this term. With a bright neon-themed run, an ample amount of almost 200 participants came and supported the night run. The run was joined by students of UNIMAS as well as people outside of UNIMAS.

Humanity & Bonding
Joined by students from different Engineering departments, Humanity & Bonding successfully achieved their objective of doing community work while having some bonding time by the beach. From cleaning the mosque in Kampung Buntal to having some delicious BBQ in Pantai Puteri, the participants were really sporting and helpful throughout the event.

Throughout the week, a food bazaar was held in conjunction of the youth-centric event. A variety of delicacies were available from 10AM - 7PM everyday to commemorate the long week events. Organised by Muhammad Aqill bin Ahmad, the bazaar was certainly a delight for bypassers and students of UNIMAS.
